My statement

Ever since I was a child, my shyness led me to observe people. I noticed their looks, their body postures, the way they spoke, the way they related to each other.

This observation allowed me to get to know others and, consequently, to get to know myself.

Since emotions are universal, the emotion I saw in others I also saw in myself, and that union I felt with others made me feel good.

I realized that most of us go through life hiding our true essence, our emotions. But there is always a moment when that comes out.

Sometimes a person's emotion is felt in a second, in a gesture, in a look, and that second is what I want to capture in my artwork, so that  second of authenticity is eternal.

There is also a noticeable influence of ancient art in my works because I like to feel that there were people centuries ago who captured the same universal emotions that I want to express today, teaching me that emotions are not only universal, but also timeless.
